My card is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2.  Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection that has been distressed around the edges and had distress ink rubbed into the curled edges.  Use the Matte Gel and the stencil to apply a pretty design and sprinkle glitter over that and set aside to dry.  Next I added some of the Victorian Velvet distress ink to dye the seam binding to match.  I then began to work on the roses.  Using the watercolor paper stamp and cut out the petals and leaves.  I added Victorian Velvet to the edges of the flower petals and then used a heat gun to dry the ink as well to help set the ink so that it does not run when I wet it.  I used the New Sprout and Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink to color the leaves and curls. Next wet the leaves and flower petals and using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit shape them and set aside to dry.  Once dry I added glue to the edges and sprinkled glitter giving them a little sparkle.   A little glitter is good for the soul!  Now cut out the Raindrops on Roses Die and glue it to the card front.  Place your flowers along the die cut and begin to glue them down.  I tied a sweet bow out of the colored seam binding and used Scor-Tape and glue to adhere it on the card front.  I then found the sentiment tag on one of the sheets of the paper and cut it out using the Luggage and Tags Die.  Use dimensional tape to adhere to the front of the card.

My card is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2.  Make card base out of heavy weight cardstock for strength and stability.  Cover with a piece of the paper collection.  Next I die cut the corner piece and glued it down in the corner.  I stamped, and cut out the flower petals and then colored them with Rhubarb Stalk and New Sprout ink.  I colored the leaves with New Sprout and Bamboo Leaves.  Wet the petals and leaves and use the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to shape the petals then set them aside to dry.  Once dry, glue the petals together and shape your flower.  I used a finger dauber and applied embossing ink to the edges of my flowers and leaves and sprinkled the embossing powder over that.  Once embossed it has a gold sheen to the flowers and leaves.  I stamped the sentiment and used the label die to cut out the shape.  Next use the leafing pen to go around the edges and I also colored a half pearl with the gold as well.  Use dimensional tape and adhere the sentiment piece to the front of the card.  Next arrange the flowers and leaves where you like and glue them down.  Your card is now complete!

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday - Coloring Using Chameleon Markers

Good morning everyone and welcome to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!  The design team was given the Chameleon markers and we are featuring them during the month of September.  I must admit that I have never played well with markers but these are really nice and seem to have a lot of color inside.  The results are quite striking and I have enjoyed playing with them. My package was titled:  Nature Tones.  I think the cinnamon color really matched well with the Classic Rose Collection!

Stamp, cut out and color the vine die using the Chameleon Markers.  I used watercolor paper and the markers worked beautifully.  Next I used the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to shape the vines and roses then I glued it to the front of my tag.  Spritz the seam binding with water, scrunch and let dry.  Once dry I tied the top piece and then I used the remainder of the seam binding to tie a bow for the bottom.  I used the Luggage and Tags Die to cut out a tag that is printed on the paper.  I used dimensional tape to adhere it to the front of my tag.  Glue down the half pearl and the tag is complete.

Get Well Wishes.....

Good morning everyone.  Come on in and let's share a cup of coffee or tea and let's visit for a bit!

First things first...we had rain yesterday!  It had been quite awhile since we had any and I have to admit I just stood on the porch and watched and listened.  I still have humming birds and they were sitting in the tree next to the porch bathing in the shower!  What a wonderful sight!

I'm here this morning to share a Get Well Card with you.  This one is going in my box for use when I have a friend or relative who isn't feeling well.  I used the roses from the New Release from Heartfelt Creations "Classic Rose Collection".

I love the beautiful papers from this collection and see myself making many cards using it in the future!  My roses don't show it here but they have glitter on the edges.  Everything is better with a bit of glitter on it!

Well that does it for me this morning.  Hope you all have a wonderful day and remember to "Breathe"!

My card size is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.  Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection.  Cut the largest Floral Oval Die out of white cardstock and then cut a piece of the paper collection with the largest Classic Oval Die.  Glue the paper onto the Floral Oval and set aside.  Cut a length of white seam binding and spray with water; then scrunch to crinkle and set aside to dry.  Next stamp, emboss and cut out the rose petals and the leaves using the watercolor paper. Apply New Sprout ink to the leaves and then shape with an embossing tool from the flower shaping kit. Spray the back of the rose petals with a mist of water and begin to shape using the flower shaping kit.  Once they look the way you want them to, set them aside to dry.  When the petals are dry add the Prills to the center. While you are shaping the petals, have fun and play with them. Remember in nature all flowers are different.  Next I shaped the rosebuds and laid them aside to dry.  When everything is dry, use dimensional tape to adhere the Floral Oval to the front of the card.  Glue down the flowers and leaves and cut out a cute little tag from the paper collection.  I used dimensional tape behind it as well to give a bit more dimension to the front of the card.  Next I tied a bow and used my hot glue gun to adhere it to the card front.

Below is a close-up of the roses so you can see the detail of petals.

Best Wishes

Instructions:
My card size is 6 X 6.
When making your roses you might like to follow along in this video with Emma Lou about making dimensional roses:    https://youtu.be/Z8P070kC3oo

I made the card base using watercolor paper because of the weight and stability. Cut a piece of the paper collection and using the distressing tool, distress the edges.  I then used Dusty Concord Distress ink to ink the curled edges.  Next I cut a piece of seam binding and wet it then I applied some of the Sage ink to my craft mat and spritzed with water.  Then I ran my seam binding in the ink and water until I am happy with the amount of color in the seam binding.  Scrunch the seam binding and set it aside to dry.  Using a lighter weight watercolor paper, stamp and cut out the flower petals and leaves.  Color with Dusty concord and Sage Shadow ink and let dry.  You can use your heat gun for this as it helps to set the color.  Once dry we are going to spritz with water and begin the process of shaping the petals.  Set them aside to dry.  When the petals are dry glue them together to form the flowers and add the prills that have been colored with the green ink.  Next I stamped my sentiment and used the label die to die cut the shape.  While still in the die I used a cotton ball swirled in Dusty Concord ink and lightly applied color to the label.  Use a light hand as you can always apply more color.  Glue down the half pearls and use dimensional tape to apply to the card front.  Tie a bow and glue down; I also tied little knots in the ends of the seam binding just to give a different feel to the bow.  Now start tucking the flowers and leaves around the bow and the sentiment.  Once you are happy with their placement, glue them down.

Just Thinking About You.......

Hello everyone!  We have come through another weekend and as we begin our work week I wanted to share another card I have made.  This one is going in my closet to be sent to someone special when I just need to let them know I'm thinking of them.  It could be just to say hello or even to say Happy Birthday but mostly just to let them know they are on my mind.

The die is from Anna Griffin Fretworks.  The paper and flower are from the Sunrise Lily Collection at Heartfelt Creations. The sentiment is also from Heartfelt Creations.  I find I'm always up for making their flowers and their papers match so  beautifully. I will always be a Heartfelt Creations girl!

Well that does it for me this morning.  I hope you have a lovely Monday and remember to come back on Wednesday as it will be another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!

Glue onto the oval and then begin to place your trees where they look best.  Glue them down.  I then used dimensional tape to pop up the snowman and also the back of the oval.  Once the oval is in place, cut a piece of the paper collection that has one of the sentiments and mat it with white and navy blue cardstock. Happy Labor Day....

Good morning everyone!  I'm just running through to wish you all a very happy and safe Labor Day!  My Monday will be spent hanging out with Bella and maybe a little crafting if she is tolerant!

I decided to bring out my mini album that I have been working on for quite awhile.  I am using the "Raindrops on Roses" papers from Heartfelt Creations.  I adore the gorgeous colors and those roses just melt my heart!  I only like a couple of pages so I'm thinking I may just finish it this time.

I'm not sure if I have shared this page with you before but here it is!  It's a pocket page with a rather deep pocket edged with a Sue Wilson Die.  I also did a butterfly in the colors and shined it by using Glossy Accents.  Wish me luck in doing the last two pages and then I can call this one "DONE"!  Of course I will have to start another one as I think I am totally hooked on these little memory keepers.

Well that's it for me this morning.  Go and enjoy the day!  I might even get in a nap!
