WOYWW # 235

Good morning and welcome to WOYWW!  I am totally addicted to this little Wednesday extravaganza and just love being able to be a part of it!  If you would like to join in, just go over to Julia's blog .  She has headers on her blog with all the information.  We basically just take a picture of our desk or workspace and blog about it and then link to Julia's blog and then we can visit each other.  I love being able to poke around in everyone blog space; so much craftiness going on out there!

Lots of Christmas crafting going on.  I try and do one "something" each day.  Whew am I one busy lady!
Right behind the fast grab tack glue is a die that I actually lost a month ago.  Now I was devastated because I use that die so much!  Imagine my surprise when I opened a drawer that I thought had been searched properly and I heard the die fall.  I started pulling things out of the drawer again and there it was.  So glad I didn't order a new set...I was waiting until after Christmas!  That's what happens when my space gets too cluttered!

I made a poinsettia using the Sizzix - Susan's Garden Poinsettia Die by Susan Tierney Cockburn.   Check out the center.  I achieved this look by taking her center piece folding it a little and dipping it into  glue and then flowersoft that had been tinted a little and then I used a red marker and just dabbed a tiny bit on the tip.  Wow these are just so life like.  I definitely will be making more of these.  So very easy!

I am ALWAYS losing things among the clutter. Usually I find them AFTER I've replaced them, so I'm glad yours turned up before you had to fork out any more cash!

This is the most beautiful poinsettia! That does it. I'm getting a poinsettia die and I think this will be the one. Thanks so much for saying exactly which one it is. Your flower center is very creative and lifelike. Well, the entire flower is very lifelike. Hard to tell the difference from the real thing!

Hi Glenda,

Your poinsettia is gorgeous! I can understand why you were disappointed that you thought you had lost it. Going through my things I'm "discovering" all kinds of things. I'm sure my realtor was right when she said to de-clutter but moving most of my crafting supplies to the storage unit was a big mistake.

Thank you so much for visiting me already. I knew it would be late in the week before I could do most of my visiting.

Happy belated WOYWW
Peace, Kay (12)
