This is a quick and easy card to make.

Quick and Easy Christmas Card...

Good morning everyone from a very rainy East Tennessee!  I'm here sharing another card I have made using Heartfelt Creations papers, stamps and dies!

I used one of the card fronts from the Celebrate the Season paper collection.  It makes a quick and easy card and I cut out one of the sentiments and backed it in white and used some dimensional tape to pop it up.  A quick poinsettia and the card is ready to go. Each paper pack comes with several sheets covered with card fronts so all you have to do is cut one out and glue to a card base, add a flower and a sentiment and it is ready to go.

A Christmas Card

Good morning friends!  I'm here this morning to share another Christmas card with you as we begin the roller coaster ride toward Christmas Day!  I love this time of year and I love it when my Christmas cards are a quick and easy act of love.  This year I'm letting the wonderful Heartfelt Creations papers, stamps and dies are doing all the heavy lifting for me!

My card started with a beautiful piece of the "Celebrate the Season" paper and I just added the beautiful large poinsettia and the skates.  Then just stamp the sentiment onto the front of the card and it's all set to go!  This one will be a little hard to mail and costly as well so it will be going to someone I will see and I can just hand the card to them or maybe slip it down into a gift bag with a Christmas treat!  I love that Heartfelt Creations has thought of everything for us and we can just go and quickly make a beautiful keepsake card and then move on!

That's it for me this morning.  I hope your day is a day filled with joy!

Other Supplies:  White Cardstock, Bling on a String, Spellbinders Standard Ovals Large and Small, Dusty Concord, Bundled Sage and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks, Rich Cocoa Memento Ink, cotton ball, Distress Glaze, Woodland Scenics Yellow Pollen

Instructions:
Pull one of the flip fold cards from the envelope and die cut some of the edge dies then apply the edge die cuts to the edges of the card and cover the panels with the paper collection.  I stamped the sentiment and used an oval die to cut out.  Color with a Dove Blender Pen and put the die cut back in the die and apply a light layer of color using a cotton ball. Use a light touch as you can always apply more but you can not take it back.  Next I picked an oval from the card fronts and used the oval die to cut it out and I applied it to a layer of cardstock.  I edged the piece with Dusty Concord ink and set aside.  Next I die cut the Raindrops on Roses die and glued it to the back of the oval piece then I applied the Vintage Glass Glitter and set it aside to dry.  Now stamp, cut out, color and shape the flower and leaves.  After applying color I added a layer of the glaze to seal in the color.  This allows you to wet the paper and the color does not run. After shaping the flowers I added the Prills and the pollen to the centers.   Decide where you want your flowers and leaves to lie and glue them down.

Instructions:

Watch this video https://youtu.be/Z8P070kC3oo to learn how to create dimensional roses with the Classic Rose Collection

My project is 6 X 6.  Find the shadow box in the envelope and cover the sections with the paper collection.  Next I chose a 6 X 6 card front from the paper and glued it down on the inside panel of the box.  Next I cut a piece of the paper collection and covered the back of the box to hide the closures.  I cut the Raindrops on Roses die out of white cardstock and glued it to one of the inside flaps of the box.  Next I stamped, cut out and colored the butterflies.  Next I glued the gold seed beads to the bodies of the butterflies and then I covered the butterfly with the Glossy Accents to give them a shiney appearance and then lay them aside to dry.  Now comes the fun part.  I stamped, cut out, colored and shaped the flowers and leaves.  Once you have made the flowers, add the prills to the insides and set them aside to dry.  I added Krystallos Shard Glitter to the edges of the roses and I think it almost looks like dew on the petals.  Next I arranged the flowers and leaves and glued them down.  Some of the flowers were hot glued to the box front and some I just used Designer Dries Clear glue.  Once I was happy with the placement of the leaves and flowers, I tucked in the little butterflies and glued them down.  The box is complete.

The blog hop goes until Monday, November 28 at 11:59 pm Eastern time. A winner will be chosen randomly using Random.org first for the blog and then the comment so be sure and comment on as many of the participating blogs as you can.  The winner will be announced on the Heartfelt Creations Blog post and Facebook on Wednesday, November 30th.  Good luck!

Instructions:
My card size is 5 3/4 X 5 3/4.  Make card base out of watercolor paper for strength and stability and set aside.  I chose two pieces of the paper collection and on my top layer I used the largest circle die and on the blue piece of paper I cut the next smallest size.  Now glue the two pieces of paper together making a matted circle.  Next I stamped the image on a piece of the watercolor paper and colored the image using various distress inks and a brush.  I then glued this piece under the two pieces of the paper making my image a matted piece.  Next I stamped, cut out, colored and shaped the flowers and leaves and those sweet little lady bugs. Cover the lady bugs in Glossy Accents and set aside to dry.  After having formed the flowers and glued the layers together I added the prills to the centers and left to dry.  When they were dry I glued the leaves and flowers onto the front of my card.  Next glue the two lady bugs where you like them.  I cut out a sentiment from the paper collection and matted it with a piece of green cardstock.  I stamped, cut out and covered the little bone with prills that had been colored with Lady Bug Ink to match my piece.  I am finicky about things matching so sometimes I color the prills with Memento Inks.  Once the little bone is dry, glue it to the top of the sentiment piece and use dimensional tape to adhere to the card front.  Glue down the half pearls and your card is all finished.

Next up is my little puppy box:

This next photo shows the top of the box and the sweet flowers I made.

Directions:  Box is 2 X 4.  There are many directions for boxes on line and I just found one and made my box.  Next I cut pieces of the paper collection and covered the 4 sides of the box and the top as well.  Next I cut some panels to glue over the top of that with pictures of the little dogs on them.  Next I cut the decorative piece from the paper collection and glued it along the bottom of the box and also one to glue to the top of the box so it just peeps out from under the lid.  Now stamp, emboss, cut out and shape the flowers.  Add the green Prills and set aside to dry.  Stamp, cut out, color and shape the leaves and set aside.  Next I stamped the little paw prints along one side of the box and added glue and prills to give the little paws dimension.  The next step is to glue the flowers and leaves onto the top of the box. Once you have done this your box is finished.  It can be used to hold a small gift or even some dog treats if you like.

I hope you have enjoyed these two projects and if need further inspiration visit the Heartfelt Creations blog and see what the other designers have made.

Birthday Wishes....

Good morning friends.  I'm here this morning to share a birthday card I made as I'm always looking for designs for this type of card because the birthdays always in my family always slip up on me.

Everything on this card is Heartfelt Creations except I used a butterfly border from Crafters Companion.  I just love how those little butterflies stand up and welcome you to the birthday greeting!

I know this is short and sweet this morning but I'm off to work on some other projects that I'm not able to show yet.  I will spend the day inside as we are under another air quality alert here in the Tennessee Valley.  There are lots of fires around and the smoke everywhere.  We are so very dry that fires were inevitable I guess.

My card is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.  Make card base out of white cardstock.  Then make a mat piece using purple cardstock and glue it down to the card front.  Next I selected a card front from the paper collection and glued it to the purple mat.  I found a sweet sentiment on the paper and cut it to fit the banner then glued it down.  Stamp and cut out the swirl and color using the distress inks and a brush.  Stamp, cut out and color the flower petals.  Color the edges with dusty concord distress ink and then add a layer of the glaze.  This sets the color so it does not run when you wet it to shape.  Shape the flowers and rosebuds, add the prills to the centers of the single layer flowers.  Next you decide where you want your elements to sit and glue them down.  Using these beautiful card fronts is a great way to achieve beautiful cards with minimal effort!

Good morning everyone and welcome to What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday. Julia is the proud owner of this weekly get together and we are so thankful for her trying to keep us all in a row.  I personally have run a wheel off a couple of times but she very graciously gets us all lined up back in a row.  Thank you Julia!

My desk this morning looks almost staged as I have a lot of little goodies to put away.  I'm sort of in the middle of a project or two but I can't show them just yet so bear with me as I keep them hidden from your eyes.

I'm working on a project for my design team and needed some quick flowers and these Berry Blossoms from Heartfelt Creations are perfect.  I also have some pinecones spray painted white and then sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Cotton Candy Pink.  Next will come little pearls on the tips and a pink bow on top. They make wonderful tree ornaments!  I don't have a finished one ready to show you yet.

That does it for me this morning.  I'm off to browse some of your blogs before I have to officially start my day!

My card is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2.  Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection that has the sides distressed.  Stamp, cut out and color flowers and leaves.  Shape the roses and glue the petals to form a flower and set aside to dry. Shape the leaves and decide where you want them to sit on the card front.  I used hot glue to attach the leaves and vines and then I hot glued the roses on top of the vines.  The piece of the paper collection I chose already had the sentiment on it so it is really a quick and easy card to finish.

That's it for me this morning.  Be sure and come back on Wednesday for Another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!

My card is 6 X 6.  Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection. Next I cut a piece of the chipboard lattice from Creative Embellishments to fit down one side of my card front.  I painted it with the white paint and set aside to dry.  Once dry I glued it to the side of my card.  Stamp, cut out, the flower petals and leaves then color using the weathered wood and bundled sage distress inks.  I then used the Distress Glaze to seal the color.  This keeps the color from running when I wet the flower petals and shape.  Once the petals are shaped, set them aside to dry.  Next add the half pearls to the smaller flowers. It is time to begin placing the flowers and leaves where you want them to lie on the card front.  I stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then used the Spellbinders die to cut it out. While the sentiment was still in the die, I added some weathered wood ink through the cut outs of the die. I used the double dots to pop it up and add dimension to the sentiment.  Add a gold half pearl to the sentiment piece and the card is finished.

That's it for me I have another card that I will share with you on Monday of next week. You can visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog here. I just know that you will be inspired.  I'm really enjoying the Blushing Rose stamps, dies and papers!

WOYWW #386...

Good morning everyone!  It has been a good long while since I have posted here and I'm ashamed that I haven't done better.  My design team posts on Wednesday and I can't seem to keep my little ducks in a row to be able to have something to post. Each Wednesday we get together and take a photo of our desk and link it on Julia's blog for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.   I've also been working in the yard trying to get everything ready for Fall. We have been in drought conditions and there is a lot of dead limbs and stuff to clear off.  The leaves are falling and today I mowed to mulch them.  I don't rake anymore but the leaves are good for the soil.  By Spring they are rotted down into the ground and all is well.

This afternoon this is what is on my desk.  As you can see there isn't any crafting going on.  Bella has decided she loves to sit here and watch the birds outside while I catch up on computer work.

Next I have a little project I just finished for my desk in the living room.  I decorated a lantern with Fall foliage and ribbon.  I watched a video on YouTube and got the idea.  I went to the Dollar Tree where everything is...you guessed it...a dollar and bought the leaves and florals.  The swag can be taken off and another one for another season can be attached.  Next will be Christmas and then in the Spring another one will appear.  I just thought it was a great idea without too much fuss!

Well that's it for me this morning.  I'm off to visit as many of you as I can!

More From Heartfelt Creations....Blushing Rose Collection

Here is the second project I made for last week for Heartfelt Creations.  I'm in love with the Blushing Rose Collection.  The stamps, dies and papers are just wonderful and such a joy to work with and these roses just speak to me!

Heartfelt Creations Products Used and Products Carried in Their Shop:
HCPC-3757 Blushing Rose Background Cling Stamps
HCPC-3755 Blushing Rose Stem Cling Stamp
HCD1-7113 Blushing Rose Stem Die
HCDP1-271 Blushing Rose Paper Collection
HCDP1-270 Classic Rose Paper Collection
HCD1-762 Decorative Oval Die
Bamboo Leaves and New Sprout Memento Ink

Designer Dries Clear Glue

Other Supplies:  Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and Small, White Cardstock, Purple Cardstock, Canson Watercolor Paper, Gold Embossing Powder, Dusty Concord Distress Ink, 6mm Half Pearls, Scor-Tape, White Seam Binding, Dimensional Tape

Instructions:
My tag measures 4 X 6 1/2.  Make the tag using watercolor paper for strength. Cover with a piece of the Blushing Rose Paper Collection.  Next I stamped and embossed the Blushing Rose Background Cling Stamp and then set the tag aside while I worked on the other elements.  I dyed a piece of the seam binding using Dusty Concord Distress Ink and set it aside to dry.  Next I used the circle dies to cut out a frame using purple and white cardstock.  I used a circle piece of paper from the Classic Rose paper collection to go behind my circle for contrast.  Cut out the Decorative Oval and then use one of the circle dies to make it fit my frame.  Now glue all layers of the frame together and let dry.  Once dry I added the half pearls and glued them down.  I stamped and cut out the roses and leaves and colored it with Memento Ink on the leaves and Distress Ink for the rosebuds. The Dove Blender Pen works wonderfully for this.  I used dimensional tape behind the roses and mounted it to the circle piece.  I also used dimensional tape to apply the circle piece to my tag.  Next tie the bow and adhere to the bottom of the tag.

I love making tags as they can be given as a stand alone gift or slipped down into a gift bag with a gift for a friend.  It just gives a little bit of extra love from you to them!

My card measures 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.  Make card base using purple cardstock.  Cover with one of the card fronts from the gorgeous papers.  Next stamp the vines and use distress inks and a brush to color in the leaves.  Allow to dry and use the matching die to cut out.  Apply this to the bottom of the card front and let dry.  Next I stamped the flower petals and cut them out using the matching die.  Color the tips with Dusty Concord ink and then use the Distress Glaze over that to set the color.  Now you can wet the petals and shape and when they are dry you can glue them to form the roses.  I used hot glue to glue the rose and the rosebuds to the bottom of the card.  Next I chose my sentiment and stamped it on white cardstock and cut out using the die.  Then I cut out the base piece for the sentiment using purple cardstock.  Use dimensional tape to give this sentiment dimension.

A Quick and Easy Pocket Card...

Good morning friends.  I'm here to share this quick and easy pocket card that is just perfect for sending a note or a check or a gift card.  I will probably be using this for a quick birthday card and send along a gift card slipped down inside the pocket.  The tag will have a hand written note wishing them a very Happy Birthday.

I used white cardstock and the Heartfelt Creations Everyday Heroes paper collection.  The sentiment and the tag were part of the collection and all you have to do is cut them out.  So again the paper collection does all the heavy lifting. This makes such a quick card and works great for young men.

Also on October 15th. and 16th. Heartfelt Creations will be at The Smoky Mountain Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Getaway 2016!  Sevierville Convention Center - 202 Gists Creek Road, Sevierville, TN  37876.  I went last year and I'm so excited to get to go back again this year.  If you would love to see demonstrations and wonderful products plan to go.  Maybe I will see you there!

I cut a second gate and lined the inside of the gate so it would be more finished.  Now glue the gate onto the card front using dimensional Tape and glue.  I stamped and cut out the wreath and colored with inks.  I adhered it to the gate with dimensional tape.  Next poke a hole in the gate and install the knob.  Now find the pretty lady on the paper collection and fussy cut then apply with dimensional tape so that is what you see when you open the gate. I also put some leaves on the back side of the gate.  It was colored with New Sprout and Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink.   I picked out the sentiment tag from the paper and used the Luggage and Tags Die to cut it out.  I used dimensional tape to adhere to the front of the card.

My card is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2.  Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection that has been distressed around the edges and had distress ink rubbed into the curled edges.  Use the Matte Gel and the stencil to apply a pretty design and sprinkle glitter over that and set aside to dry.  Next I added some of the Victorian Velvet distress ink to dye the seam binding to match.  I then began to work on the roses.  Using the watercolor paper stamp and cut out the petals and leaves.  I added Victorian Velvet to the edges of the flower petals and then used a heat gun to dry the ink as well to help set the ink so that it does not run when I wet it.  I used the New Sprout and Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink to color the leaves and curls. Next wet the leaves and flower petals and using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit shape them and set aside to dry.  Once dry I added glue to the edges and sprinkled glitter giving them a little sparkle.   A little glitter is good for the soul!  Now cut out the Raindrops on Roses Die and glue it to the card front.  Place your flowers along the die cut and begin to glue them down.  I tied a sweet bow out of the colored seam binding and used Scor-Tape and glue to adhere it on the card front.  I then found the sentiment tag on one of the sheets of the paper and cut it out using the Luggage and Tags Die.  Use dimensional tape to adhere to the front of the card.
