Instructions: My card is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inches. Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection. Cut out the two oval pieces and glue them together. Use dimensional tape to adhere to the card. Cut out the cage and glue it to the oval piece then set aside to dry.
Using Elderberry Ink, stamp the flowers and before you die cut them color them with a sponge dauber and the Pearlescent Orchid ink. Using the coordinating die, cut out the flowers and run them through the mold then shape just a bit more using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Glue half pearls to the center of the flowers and set aside to dry.
Using Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink stamp the Lilac spray and then use the Dove Blender Pen and the Bamboo Leaves ink to color the leaves. Glue the Lilac Flowers to cover everything except the leaves and then glue that to the cage.
Next, I found a sentiment from the paper collection, cut it out and curled it a bit and then glued it down. The card is finished.

Inspiration Wednesday With Heartfelt Creations...And Semifinalists Announced!

Good morning everyone and welcome to my little corner of the world.  Here in East Tennessee we have been experiencing warmer than normal weather and my thoughts have turned to Spring.  Lilacs are a lovely way to welcome Spring and they make my mind wander to a simpler time of my childhood and my Grandmother's Lilac bush.  It was huge and glorious when in bloom and the scent was heavenly.  Oh to go back to those first days of Spring and the joy of being a child again... As I get older those memories mean so much to me and something very small can bring them all flooding back to me.  So lets walk down memory lane together and I will share another card made using the Heartfelt Creations Lush Lilac Collection! I hope to share some of my memories with you.

My card is 6 X 6.  Make card base and cover with one of the card fronts from the paper collection.  Set aside to let the glue dry.

Using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink stamp the Lilac image and the Lilac petals.  I colored the flower petals before I cut out them out.  Cut out the Lilac image and use the Dove Blender Pen and ink to color.  I added the crystal clear and set aside to dry.  I ran the flower petals through the Lush Lilac mold and then used my flower shaping kit to give the flowers just a bit more dimension.  I added Prills to the center and some Crystal Clear and when everything was dry I glued the flowers to the lilac image and then I used dimensional tape to adhere to the card front.  I also added some Crystal clear here and there on the card front.

Instructions:
My card is 6 X 6.  Make card base out of watercolor paper.  I sometimes use that for strength and stability.  Cover with a piece of the paper collection then set it aside to dry and we will begin working on the other elements of this card.

Using the circle dies and the white cardstock, cut out a circle that has the scalloped edges.  Now cut a smaller circle of the paper collection and glue it to the larger circle.  I used dimensional tape and adhered it to the center of my card.  Using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamp the flower petals, umbrella and the butterfly and use the coordinating die to cut them out.  Cut out the umbrella and butterfly then use a Dove Blender pen and ink to color.  Next I added some Crystal Clear to give it a bit of sparkle and set it aside to dry.  I colored the Lilac flowers before I cut them out, this makes the process a bit quicker.  I used the Lush Lilac Shaping Mold to shape the petals; once the flowers have been run through the die cut machine in the mold I use my flower shaping kit to just press down in the center of the flower and it makes the petals stand up for more dimension. I added the Prills to the center of the flowers and set them aside to dry. Once dry, I glued the flowers to the umbrella and then I used dimensional tape to adhere it to the circle.  I also glued down the little butterfly

Now go back to the paper pack and find a sentiment and cut it out.  I used Lilac Posies Memento Ink and went around the edges of the sentiment and then used more dimensional tape to glue to the card front.

Next I made for you a little tag.  I love tags because they can go along with a small gift for actually be a gift if you like.

Instructions:
My tag size is 4 X 7 3/4.  Cover the tag with a piece of the paper collection and edge it with green ink, then add two more layers of paper which have had edges distressed and colored.  Stamp the flowers, color and then cut out.  Run them through the mold and then continue shaping a bit more with the flower shaping kit.  Add Prills to the center and set aside to dry.  Next stamp the image and use the dove blender pen to color then using the coordinating die cut it out.  Add the flowers and set aside to dry.  Once dry adhere it to the tag using dimensional tape.

Stamp the sentiment and then use the circle dies to make a frame.  Adhere it to the tag using the dimensional tape.  Cut a length of the seam binding, spray with water and scrunch.  Set aside to dry.  Once dry tie a bow and glue it down.  Tie a bow through the hole of the tag.
